Role brief
Job Description: Review technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM) alongside design/engineering teams. Floating Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and comparative statements to potential suppliers. Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, or internal tools). Follow up regularly with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials. Maintain vendor databases, rate lists, test certificates, and compliance records.
